NUTRITION O’CLOCK

Continuing from where we stopped yesterday about how specific foods can affect mental processes.

Something very vital to have in mind is that research has shown that people who eat a lot of processed and high-sugar foods (Jedi Jedi) are more likely to experience depression and other mental health issues.

This is thought to be because processed foods contain artificial ingredients that can interfere with neurotransmitter production, and high-sugar foods can cause spikes and crashes in blood sugar levels, leading to mood swings and fatigue.

In contrast, people who eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains tend to have better mental health.
